WE, THE EDITORS AND STAFF of the International Tinnitus Journal (lTI), have lost a colleague and a friend, Dudley J. Weider. His contributions to otology, neurootology, and tinnitology have been significant and have enhanced our understanding of tinnitus for the benefit of tinnitus patients. The ITJ benefited from his timely comments, criticisms, contributions of original manuscripts, and friendship.
